Andy wakes up every morning at 6:00 a.m. in New York City and asks themself three questions. Always the same three questions. And always in this order:
Where am I?
Who am I?
What is my mission today?
Andy must think fast because there’s always a reason Andy is here, in this room, in this body, on this day. No borough, culture, race, gender, or age has been left unvisited. And while Andy doesn’t know for sure how this became their purpose or their existence, what is clear is that, for over a century, Andy has been completing missions to help New Yorkers. And, by so doing, Andy, working together with the myriad denizens of the Big Apple, is helping the very City itself. Like a guiding spirit, Andy infuses New York’s sense of community and grit in the people they help and inhabit, making the city better, one person at a time, together—that’s the key.
