Mercenary, adventurer, podcaster… Roman Rhodes is on a mystical global quest into the darkest parts of Chinese mythology and Kung Fu adventure to find REN, his missing sister, who is being hunted for her extraordinary power by the demigod warrior SHEN WU.
Roman’s Rise is a love letter to Big Trouble in Little China (1986 film) and funny enough for the Hangover (2009 film) audience.

Michael Dolce has been a professional Writer, Artist, Podcaster, and Awesome Dude in the comic book industry for over 20 years. He co-created “Descendant” for Image Comics, “The Mainstream” for Zenescope, and continues his creator-owned superhero book “The Sire” on Kickstarter and in stores. In 2020, Rogue Matter brought on Michael as Chief Creative Officer, where he has written several new titles, including “Time Trader” and the upcoming “Roman’s Rise.” When he’s not creating comics, he’s hosting the hit pop culture podcast The Rogue Wav Podcast, available on all major podcasting apps. Michael co-moderated a panel with the Rogue Matter Team and Creators and signed his comic book issue #1 at the Rogue Matter booth #350.
