Michael Dolce has been a professional Writer, Artist, Podcaster, and Awesome Dude in the comic book industry for over 20 years. He co-created “Descendant” for Image Comics, “The Mainstream” for Zenescope, and continues his creator-owned superhero book “The Sire” on Kickstarter and in stores. In 2020, Rogue Matter brought on Michael as Chief Creative Officer, where he has written several new titles, including “Time Trader” and the upcoming “Roman’s Rise.” When he’s not creating comics, he’s hosting the hit pop culture podcast The Rogue Wav Podcast, available on all major podcasting apps. We had so much fun with Will Meldman and Brock O’Hurn, the creators of the Kane Comic Universe, at LA Comic Con 2023!

Brock is not only a famous actor, model, and influencer, but the real life inspiration for the look of the hero Kane… Can you tell? ;)

Will is the founder of Double Down Pictures and the brain behind the Kane Comic Universe. Together, Will and Brock host the Studio 22 podcast and at LA Comic Con they had their mobile studio next to the Rogue Matter booth podcasting!

Tony Donley, one of the Kane comic artists, was at our booth sketching Kane for fans.

Across from us was master-rogue Shawn Crahan from Slipknot, who had a wonderful time getting to know fans one-on-one and without a mask :)

We all had a blast with Connor Esterson, the co-star from the new Spy Kids movie Armageddon! Connor is doing a project with us a comic book called Brother’s Code. He is going to be the star of the comic like Brock is the star of Kane :) Connor signed posters for fans and recorded a podcast with us. Kids are one of the best parts of comic cons!

Deirdra Eden, the international best-selling author of The Watchers series and award-winning artist, connected with fans young and old, signing her books and moderating our panel! We were lucky enough to get to know Susan Peik, Deirdra’s editor on The Watchers series, and we hope to keep her in the Rogue-fam!
